AMD Paints & Parts UK Terms & Conditions

1. Validity

These terms of trade govern the sale and supply of goods by AMD Paints & Parts to you. AMD Paints & Parts may amend these terms from time to time. You shall be notified of any amendments by a notice on the AMD Paints & Parts site.

2. AMD Paints & Parts' Contract With You

No contract shall exist between you and AMD Paints & Parts until AMD Paints & Parts has sent you an email confirming receipt and acceptance of your order. AMD Paints & Parts is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods or the order appearing on AMD Paints & Parts site or for unavailability (see 3. below). AMD Paints & Parts reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any goods ordered.

By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.

3. Pricing and Availability

The prices and availability of the goods are specified on the AMD Paints & Parts site. Such information is subject to change without notice. Each price, as displayed, is exclusive of VAT. There shall be an additional charge for delivery, the amount of which shall vary according to the delivery method that you choose. In the unlikely event that the goods are unavailable, or that AMD Paints & Parts needs to vary the price due to supplier price increases, tax changes or site errors for example, following confirmation of your order AMD Paints & Parts shall send you a notification by email and allow you the opportunity to cancel your order if AMD Paints & Parts has not done so itself.

4. Delivery of Goods

AMD Paints & Parts shall deliver the goods ordered to the delivery address which you supply. All delivery times quoted on the AMD Paints & Parts site are estimates only based on availability, normal processing and delivery time. AMD Paints & Parts may deliver items in an order separately but shall charge you for postage and packing on the first delivery only. Your credit card will be debited on despatch of your order. Title to the goods will pass to you on payment in full. Risk will pass to you on delivery.

5. AMD Paints & Parts Guarantee and Returns Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with any or all of the goods received, you can return any of them to AMD Paints & Parts with original packing for an exchange or refund, providing each is returned to AMD Paints & Parts' returns processing centre within 30 days from the date of order or 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods (whichever is longer). You shall be responsible for the cost of returning goods for refund or exchange, except in cases of faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods. AMD Paints & Parts recommends that you use registered post or recorded delivery when returning goods. AMD Paints & Parts shall use reasonable efforts to replace damaged or defective goods but if replacement is not possible, or if an order is cancelled for any other reason under these Terms, AMD Paints & Parts only obligation is to refund the full amount paid by you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Your right to Cancel

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery.

If you wish to cancel you should wrap the item you for which you are cancelling the contract securely, including the packing slip you received with the order. Complete the return reason as Other and write in Contract Cancelled. Send the item back to reach us within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you we may arrange for collection of the item from you at your cost.

7. EU VAT

AMD Paints & Parts is required to collect VAT at the relevant rate for orders being dispatched outside the UK. If VAT rates in the country of the destination of your order differ from those in the UK, the VAT will be recalculated and included in the product prices shown on the Order Summary page.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Contracts between you and AMD Paints & Parts shall be governed by English Law and all disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Invalidity of Terms and Conditions

If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

AMD Paints & Parts Commitment to Privacy

AMD Paints & Parts is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our site and the confidentiality of the personal information which our customers provide us with. We use the information we collect to provide services and to ensure that your order is processed smoothly. Beyond that we only use personal information if volunteered by you. AMD Paints & Parts will never sell personal information or share personal information with third parties unless these are involved to fulfill your order.

AMD Paints & Parts Refund Policy

Delivery Details

For delivery purposes all products fall into two categories. The first category contains all paints and products containing solvents. The second category includes all other products.

Delivery charge for all items ordered from the first category is Ł9.50. Goods will be sent next day delivery if order is received before 11.30am.

Delivery charge for items from the second category are on a 'per item' basis up to a maximum of Ł9.50. Items from this group will be delivered by Royal Mail, which will take 2-3 days. However if your total delivery cost for this group reaches Ł9.50 the items will delivered next day, by courier (subject to order being received before 11.30am).

Total delivery charge will be the sum from both categories.

We do not normally deliver on Saturdays, however this can be arranged if required. Contact us for a quote.

If you spend a total of Ł250 on items from the first category then those items will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE.

If you spend a total of Ł100 on items from the second category then those items will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE.

If order is placed before 11.30am it will be dispatched, by courier, for next day delivery. Larger orders, which need to be packed on a pallet, will be delivered in 3-4 days. Delivery is subject to availability; you will be notified of any shortages to your order prior to dispatch and, if you wish, given the opportunity to cancel your order.

When you receive your order confirmation carefully check all the details are correct i.e. Product and quantity, price, delivery address etc. If any of the details are incorrect contact us immediately.

If your order is damaged, or there are shortages when it arrives you should record FULL details on the delivery notes. You should then contact us immediately with the relevant details.

When you receive your order check it against your order confirmation. If there is a discrepancy contact us immediately.

All delivery terms are quoted for UK mainland delivery only. Delivery to other areas can be quoted on request.
